My Family Rosary · AMDG Productions · Effective August 21, 2026
This policy explains what information My Family Rosary collects, why, and what control you have over it. It covers our iOS app and this website (myfamilyrosary.com).
My Family Rosary is operated by AMDG Productions. You can reach us at hello@myfamilyrosary.com for any privacy question, or to request access to or deletion of your information.
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and profile photo if you add one. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information from them. We use Firebase Authentication (Google) to manage sign-in; we never see or store your password.
My Family Rosary works by letting your family record prayers in your own voices. Those audio recordings are stored in Google Firebase Storage, associated with your family group. We use them to:
We do not sell your recordings, share them for advertising, or use them to train third-party AI voice models. If we ever offer voice cloning (creating a synthetic voice from recordings), it will be strictly opt-in, explained separately at the time, and require the consent of the person whose voice it is or their parent or guardian.
The name and photo of your family group, who belongs to it, invitations you send, and your prayer settings. My Family Rosary also lets you add "local" members — relatives who do not have accounts, such as a grandparent whose voice you record. For those people we store only the name you give them and their recordings.
Streaks, completed rosaries, listening time, and badges earned. These power the streaks, the family leaderboard, and the Mary Garden. They are visible to members of your family group.
If you sign up to be a beta tester, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, and optionally your parish and what interests you most. We use this only to run the beta program: to send your invitation, ask for your feedback, and tell you when the app launches.
Basic device and app information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service, such as app version, device type, and error reports.
My Family Rosary is designed for families to use together, and that means children's voices are often recorded. This is intentional and it is precious — and it means we take particular care.
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the app, and only so they can perform that work for us:
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
When you offer a rosary for someone or invite a family member, the message is composed in your own Mail or Messages app and sent by you — we do not send it or keep a copy of the recipient's contact details.
If you consented to beta communications, we may contact you by email and text message about the beta program and the launch. You can stop them at any time: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us. Message and data rates may apply.
If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection; our lawful bases are performing our contract with you, your consent (for recordings and marketing messages), and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the app. To exercise any of these, write to hello@myfamilyrosary.com.
We keep your account and recordings for as long as your account exists, because that is the point — these are meant to be a keepsake. If you delete a recording it is removed from our active systems, and from backups in the normal course of their rotation. If you close your account, we delete your personal information and recordings, except anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Your information is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, protected in transit by encryption and restricted by security rules so that only members of your own family group can reach your family's content. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously — these are your family's voices.
We are based in the United States and our service providers process information in the United States. If you use My Family Rosary from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for anything significant we will tell you in the app or by email.
